I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.

Pardon me, but isn't a parent supposed to clothe their child? Who is going to choose the clothing if not the mother? I don't think this is a good example. A six or ten year old child ought to be advised what to wear, otherwise people will wear just anything. You are saying that children ought to control what they wear and what they do and where they go? Then you're making it a child centered home.

There is an elderly man in my church who was subtly staking me until I told the pastor about it. That was a year ago. He stopped but was gone for a month from Sunday school then came back with an ankle monitor as he was caught stalking. I don’t know the particulars but he told a couple that all he did was wave at a woman. He never apologized to me for the anxiety he caused me from his stalking. And from conversations in SS he knows how to study the Bible but doesn’t know the Savior personally. I don’t need to know how to diagnose him but I need to know whether or not to go back to my church that I love. It’s like having a biting dog in church. He will do it again. He’s 81 years old.

thank you SO MUCH for this video it's actually helped me a lot!!! i was accused of being a covert narcissist before and i got so obsessed with the idea i might be one that i was going crazy and self-destructive because for me it means "im a bad person" "im horrible human being" and i just couldn't bare the reality i might be someone that is such person who hurts other people, especially my close ones. i was feeling like a don't deserve to live for a very long time and obsessed with the constant self-doubt "what if i'm just trying to manipulate them" "what if i don't really feel this way" i couldn't trust myself again, i didn't know who i really was. even going through therapy and debunking my fears it was still in there deep inside because "what if im deceiving the therapist or they're lying to me or just telling me things i want to hear". five years have passed and just now i im feeling like i'm slowly starting to understand myself and trust myself again. this video helped me to clarify that even if i do manifest some of the narcissistic traits i am NOT one. i was diagnosed with BPD and that also explains these traits. again, thank you so much.

My mother to a T: Blaming, denying, judgmental, flying monkey maker, digs, jabs, pokes, anger, grudge holder, competitive, gaslighting, victimizing, denying, guilt tripping, marter, hypocrite, it's exactly what she says, " why am i always the enemy, not your dad" "what haven't I done for you"" what did i do?" after gaslighting you, then you call her out verbatum and they downplay deny or discard.. DDD folks. the thing thats confuses me is she might have BPD undiagnosed because she does have Love, she shows it to everyone and it looks and feels genuine, but when she is moody or tired especially, it begins... BUT 41 YEARS LATER I'M STILL THE SCAPE~GOAT. i wasnt easy being adhd/ocd I know but i also suffered from her abuses, then blamed and shamed. had to move out at 17. she was a decent parent but a poor mother for me in many many ways she has hurt me a lot and I her.

I obsessively, compulsively ruminate about earning an income through writing. I started a Blog titled “We can drive AI”. We drive AI by writing plain English sentences that guide an AI tool in producing the content we want. That content could be a text document or anything of a text nature or the content could be an image. Short videos can be produced as well, although the video is still pretty rough, but rapidly improving in terms of quality as well as ease of generation. "Stacking” sentences ( writing paragraphs; leave it to the techies to rename something computerish ). Have Google Search or Microsoft Bing find information about “AI prompt writing." It is the new “Swiss Army knife.” 🌅

you are alot better than my cognitive therapist back in 1999. that guy had a chip on his shoulder that crushed his left larynx! he hated his job and often put people in front of the class(group therapy in low income area) and humiliated them for expressing their concerns. I am gaining from this. well it's nearly 8PM time to shut off the PC so I can adjust my inner day/night sleep cycle(according to some information on YT). thanks for the presentation I am definitely subbing and got enough to maybe get into less an anxious state tonight.

my insomina set in because of a back injury that occurred a week prior. haven't slept regularly since. usually between 48 hours I get maybe 3-4.(so far) stupid back injury laid me out but always before had an active life style so a week after not being able to move freely and avoiding outdoor physical work and activities I get insomnia on the second week(last Tuesday) had it ever since! and it is becoming worse because your body breaks down when you don't sleep regularly. I need to get some healthy food for night but I can't get to the store. My back is fine now(mostly) healed. but my insomnia makes me feel horrid! have an appointment with my PCG but in Oklahoma most doctors(and specialists) are booked because nurses and staff quit!(from the COVID scare in 2020/21) I have the feeling he won't be at his best and his nurse seemed frantic and busy when I set the appointment for next Tuesday. I have the feeling I am screwed unless I find some self help! a word of warning DO NOT use google search for phrases like "What happens if I don't get sleep for 24 hours, for 36 for 48 for 72! you will NOT Like the results and it WILL cause what this lady calls intrusive thoughts. when you are about the go to sleep. especially if you have OCD.

Very interesting. A couple of things: Even as a child, I was highly aware that I was not like my parents (I am talking from infancy on) and that somehow I would escape. This awareness has always been with me. My mother was highly manipulative, duplicitous, and underhanded, coupled with my dad, who was extremely domineering, physically and emotionally abusive, as well as religious zealotry that undergirded all of it, much to the detriment of my well-being. Years later, I discovered that my aunt and my mother's sister were also of the same ilk, which I had not known. It only came to my attention when my cousin told me he was now in therapy. I had looked to this aunt to rescue me, all the while not knowing she was just as damaged and damaging to others. I believe that some of this can be, if not hereditary, learned behavior that a child picks up as a survival technique. After my mother died in 2010, I did a lot of work on myself (which I had begun in college). Prior to her death, I was finally able to confront her and get her to apologize, which may not be in the narcissist's playbook since she had Alzheimer's at the time and may not have understood what she was apologizing for. While working on all of this during college, I happened upon John Bradshaw's "Healing the Shame that Binds You," which was validating and was the first time I found something that mentioned religious toxicity and came to my awareness at the perfect time. All of these things are very difficult, but a lot of bells went off in my head while viewing your video. I do not think it is as cut and dry as you present. (And maybe it's unfair in video to expect a lot of nuance) but in my case, I would say that my mother had symptoms of this, as well as other things that complicated the issues at hand.

How about casting up the fact she adopted you and youve never shown any gratitude and the way i treat her is despicable? That i was fat from the age of 10 and taking me to a dietician at 13 who told her i was borderline underweight that i had an hourglass figure and would never have the same body type as hers. Whenever i came home fron the hairdressers she'd complain about how theyd "ruined" my hair. I did stand upto her in my teenage years and her aide of the family hated me however my father did stand up for me but he worked so much she had so much time to be vindictive. The churxh thing too , xari g what strangers thought. I just tell people shes not the person she portrays herself to be, you'll see amd they do eventually. He was an only child and my granny was onto her from the start and wanted me to go and live with her when i was 13 and the narc said no. Im now 45 my dad has passed away, my brothers gone basically no contact even though he is the golden boy and heres me still calli g her everyday, holding my breath to see what the dig of the day will be. I could go on and on about the things shes done.

often it is unclear what priority or urgency to assign a task - this too can quickly overwhelm you. When you can't think clearly - when your higher cognitive function is blocked by emotional affect, you become overwhelmed also by the inability to prioritize - which relies on higher cognitive function. The more unable to think you become - the higher the stress factor which exacerbates your cognitive deficit and so on until you shut down.
